#MotivationalMonday I have been working really hard to get more of a routine in and include self care. Monday seems to have a bad rap... I mean don't get me wrong, I have had my share of shitty Mondays! I am trying to be more conscious of my mindset on "bad" days. It took me a long time to really learn how to catch myself when I get in a nasty frame of mind and turn it around. This Monday is going to be interesting because I am going into the office in Phoenix for a third time. I don't want to start with a negative mindset, but I know driving the I-10 is always, always going to be a cluster. There is no way around it. All I can do is remain calm, and make sure I get to the office safely, and then home safely when I leave. My day job does allow for me to really work on my mindset because I have to be my own self motivator. I work remotely from home in the health care/pharmaceutical industry. I have to be aware and mindful the whole time, but my work motivates me because I am helping others. As someone who has numerous health issues, I wish I had the kind of team working for me that we do for others. My position allows me to take a more proactive step in my health.
